奴隷貿易とその廃止を記念する国際デー(International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and Its Abolition)
国際デーの一つ。1998年にユネスコが制定。
1791年のこの日、フランス植民地のサン=ドマング(現在のハイチ)で、大西洋奴隷貿易廃止の重要なきっかけとなったハイチ革命が始った。
